Baked Parmesan Potatoes

Baking potatoes are sliced almost to the bottom, drizzled with butter, and baked, then sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and seasoned bread crumbs.
Ingredients
- 4 large baking Potatoes (about 8 oz. each)
- 2 Tb. Butter or margarine, melted
- To taste: Salt and Pepper
- 1/4 Cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tb. Italian-style fine dry breadcrumbs

Method
Preheat the oven to 375. Cut potatoes into 1/4-inch thick slices, cutting 3/4 of the way through to bottom. Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Drizzle butter over the potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 45 minutes. Mix together the cheese and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle over the potatoes; return to oven and bake for 20 minutes longer (or until tender and lightly browned).
