Beer Cheese Soup

This soup contains both Cheez Whiz and cheddar cheese, in a flour-thickened mixture of chicken broth and beer with a hint of Worcestershire.
Ingredients
- 5 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/3 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 4 Cups reduced-Sodium Chicken Broth
- 3/4 Cup Cheez Whiz
- 3/4 Cup Beer
- 1/8 Teaspoon Worchestershire Sauce
- 1 1/2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Method
In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. When bubbly, add the flour. Reduce heat, cook and whisk together for 2 minutes. Add broth and whisk together over medium heat until flour is incorporated well and mixture begins to boil. Add Cheez Whiz and beer. Stir until well combined and bubbly. Add the cheddar cheese and stir until completely melted.
Notes: Serve immediately with popcorn, croutons or other desired garnish sprinkled on top.
