Best Italian Beef

These sandwiches are sure to be a crowd pleaser and are simple to prepare. This traditional sandwich is great for game day or most other occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 large chuck roast
- 1 14 1/2 oz can double rich beef broth
- 1 10 3/4 oz can French onion soup
- 1 large yellow onion, sliced
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Olive oil
- Sandwich rolls of choice
- Shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- Jalapenos

Method
Brown chuck roast in olive oil on both sides, 3-4 minutes on each side, in a Dutch oven, but only turn once. Add remaining ingredients and simmer on low 4-6 hours. Remove roast and shred, return to pot, and stir. Spoon beef onto rolls and top with shredded cheese and jalapenos, if desired. Place juice into small bowls for dipping sandwiches.
