Best Macaroni and Cheese Ever

Cheddar and American cheeses are added to cooked shell macaroni, plus sour cream, butter & eggs. This mixture is spread in a buttered dish and baked.
Ingredients
- 1 bag pasta sea shells (shell macaroni)
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 package (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (8 oz) shredded cheddar/american cheese blend (like Kraft Classic Melt)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 beaten eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs

Method
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Boil the bag of pasta until tender. Drain pasta and add butter, sour cream, and cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add beaten eggs. Coat pasta evenly. Spread pasta in a greased 8x8" square glass baking dish. Cover with bread crumbs; (buttered, if desired). Bake 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread crumbs have browned. Let cool for 15 minutes.
Notes: This macaroni and cheese recipe adds rich sour cream to baked macaroni and cheese for an ooey-gooey, delicious dish.
