Mashed potatoes are "dressed-up" with the addition of sour cream, cheddar cheese, chives, butter and bacon.
Peel and boil potatoes until tender. Mash with electric mixer on low to medium speed; add pepper, sugar, butter and sour cream. Once consistency is smooth, add cheese, chives and bacon bits. Transfer to casserole or baking dish and bake 20-25 minutes or until lightly brown on top.
