Chicken Over Rice

Chicken thighs marinated in a sweet mixture of sugar, soy sauce and green onion, is cooked in a skillet and served over rice.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2 cups water
- 2 bunches green onions, sliced
- 6 chicken thighs
- Hot cooked rice

Method
Stir together sugar, soy sauce, water, and green onion in large bowl. Add chicken thighs and marinate at least 2 hours. Transfer to skillet and cook on stove until chicken is done. Serve chicken over rice.
Notes: You can use other parts of chicken but we found the thighs are the most tender.
