A hearty loaf of French bread is spread with crab and cheese in a creamy sauce, then broiled until golden brown.

  • Servings: 12


2 pkg Cream Cheese
1 bag Shredded Cheese, suggest swiss or mild cheddar
½ stick Butter
1 pkg Crab, imitation or real
1 Loaf French Bread


Heat oven to broil. Melt cream cheese and butter, add 1-2 cups shredded cheese, crab and mix. Cut French bread lengthwise in half, spread melted cream cheese, butter, crab, and cheese on the bread. Add more shredded cheese on top of each bread half, place on a cookie sheet, then heat in oven until golden brown. Slice bread and serve warm.
