Creamy Asparagus Casserole

Canned asparagus spears and slices of hard cooked egg are placed in a baking dish, covered with prepared white sauce and sprinkled with buttered fine dry bread crumbs before baking.
Ingredients
- 2 cans Asparagus spears
- 2 hard cooked eggs
- White sauce
- 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp butter, melted

Method
Use butter to grease the inside of a 2-quart baking dish. Place asparagus in bottom of dish. Slice the hard cooked eggs and place atop the asparagus. Prepare your favorite white sauce and pour it on, making sure to cover all asparagus and egg. Sprinkle top with a mixture of bread crumbs and butter. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes, or until white sauce is bubbly.
Notes: This has been a family Thanksgiving tradition. My husband really didn't care for asparagus until I made him this dish. He loves it!
