|1½ cups||Thinly Sliced Cucumber|
|½ cup||Thinly Sliced Red Onion|
|⅓ cup||White Vinegar|
|5 Tbsp||(1/3 Cup) Water|
|¼ cup||White (granulated) Sugar|
|¼ tsp||Black Pepper|
Layer cucumber and onion in a bowl. Combine remaining ingredients in another bowl, stirring until sugar dissolves. Pour over vegetables. Cover and chill at least 2 hours. Serve with slotted spoon.
