Easy Fried Chicken

Meaty chicken pieces are simmered in water until done, then dipped in milk and coated with a mixture of flour, garlic powder, and ground red pepper before frying in oil.
 

Ingredients

  • 8 meaty chicken pieces
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • A few spinkles of cayenne
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cups of milk
  • Oil to fry your chicken in

Method

Boil the chicken first for about 45 minutes or until it is done. (Make sure that the chicken is not pink inside.) Mix all dry ingredients together in a zip-lock bag; shake well. Dip chicken into the milk and then put one or two pieces of chicken in the bag and shake well, making sure that the chicken is covered really good. Have a skillet hot and ready with about 1-inch of vegetable oil in it. You can place as many as you want in the skillet. Fry until golden brown.
