Father Dan's Potatoes

Red potatoes are cooked in the crock pot in a rich mixture of whipping cream, condensed cream of onion soup, and butter, flavored with dill weed.
 

Ingredients

  • 12 large red potatoes
  • 2 cans Cream of Onion Soup
  • 1 quart of heavy whipping cream
  • 2 Tbsp snipped fresh dill weed (or 2 tsp. dried)
  • 1/4 cup of butter

Method

Wash and peel potatoes. Cut in halves or quarters, if desired. Place potatoes in the crock pot. Mix condensed soup, cream, and dill weed in a bowl and pour over the potatoes; mix gently. Slice the butter and put on top of the potatoes. Salt and pepper to your taste. Cook in crock pot until done.

 

Notes: You can add more dill weed, depending on your taste!
