Glazed Carrots with Orange Slices

An orange perks up the flavor of sliced carrots cooked in a butter-sugar glaze.
 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Stick Butter or Margarine
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Orange, unpeeled and thinly sliced 1 large can Sliced carrots (or 1 package frozed carrots, cooked)

Method

Melt butter and sugar; cook on low 5 minutes. Remove seeds from orange slices and simmer with butter and sugar. Add drained carrots; simmer 15 minutes.
