Method
On a floured surface, roll out pizza dough, thinly, into a rough rectangle. Preheat gas grill to medium heat and brush grates with vegetable oil. Carefully lay pizza dough on grill. Cook with top down for 5-6 minutes until grill marks are visible. Flip and cook another two minutes. With dough continuing to grill, spread pizza sauce and pesto sauce around pizza. Top with mozzarella and spread yellow tomato slices and quartered cherry tomatoes evenly. Generously sprinkle chopped bacon over entire pizza then top with fresh herbs. Check bottom of dough for doneness. Remove, slice and serve.
Notes: Great for grilling with guests, super quick and easy. Not only will your friends love this bacon pizza, with garden fresh ingredients, but they will also admire the skill and beauty associated with this dish. The colors are gorgeous and the taste is superb. Isn't everything better with bacon?
