Broccoli salad with a flavor boost from ramen noodles-this recipe will be a hit at your next family dinner or pot-luck.
Combine broccoli, purple onion and ramen noodles (break up noodles into small pieces) and sunflower seeds.
In another bowl combime vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar and both seasoning packets from the noodles. Whisk until sugar is pretty much disolved. Pour dressing over the broccoli mix. Refrigerate at least one hour and serve cold.
Notes:
I think the dish gets better the longer it is refrigerated because the noodles absorb the dressing and soften.
