Hot Mushroom-Turkey Sandwiches

Shredded leftover turkey is combined in the crock pot with canned condensed soup, American cheese, milk & fresh mushrooms, and served on toasted buns.
 

Ingredients

  • 6 cups turkey shredded or chopped
  • (leftover from Thanksgiving)
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 5 slices American cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Toasted buns

Method

Pour turkey in crockpot and turn on high heat. Mix together soup, milk, butter, sliced mushrooms, and cheese; melt it all together. Pour soup mixture over turkey and mix well. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper over turkey and mix well. Serve hot on a toasted bun.

 

Notes: Great for Thanksgiving leftovers!
