Method

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Toast pine nuts lightly in a dry skillet on top of stove. Careful--they burn easily! Spread alfredo sauce on pizza crust. Sprinkle a small amount of nutmeg evenly over top (just a pinch--no more.) Sprinkle toasted pine nuts, prosciutto, parmesan and finally the mozzarella on top. Brush edges of crust with some of the olive oil. Take a little more oil and drizzle atop cheese. Bake about 15 minutes or until done.

Notes: This recipe is called ham & cheese pizza because it contains two kinds of cheeses and the Italian ham prosciutto. Vegetarians can omit the prosciutto for an equally delicious pizza. Though it is indulgent, it's lighter-tasting than the traditional "red" pizzas.
