
Garnish each serving of this tasty soup with a little shredded Parmesan cheese.
In a large saucepan cook green onions, garlic, sausage, mushrooms, and fennel seeds in hot oil until sausage is done. Stir in flour, basil, and cayenne pepper. Add stock to saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook for 5 minutes. Stir in noodles. Return to a boil. Stir in cream and cream cheese, heating just until cheese melts.
