Kiddie Taco Pasta

This dish is meant for the little ones and is a great way to serve yummy food that is good for them.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dry alphabet-shaped pasta
- 4 ounces ground beef
- 1/4 cup cooked pinto beans (optional)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 pinch cumin
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese
- 1 2.5-ounce jar pureed sweet potato baby food
- 1 pinch onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sour cream and salsa (optional)
- 1/2 cup broccoli or other green vegetable

Method
Place pasta in a small saucepan and cover with 2 cups of water. Cook until pasta is tender. While pasta is cooking, place ground beef in a small skillet. Cook over medium heat until done, chopping meat into small pieces while it cooks. Drain grease from cooked ground beef and return beef to skillet. Add cooked, drained pasta to the skillet with the beef. Add pinto beans, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, salt, pepper, pureed sweet potato, and cream cheese to beef and pasta mixture. Stir until cream cheese is melted and all ingredients are combined. If desired, top dish with a dollop of light sour cream and a dollop of mild salsa. Serve with 1/2 cup broccoli on the side.
