
This pasta side dish is full of lemon flavor. Add crushed red pepper for extra zip.
Cook pasta according to package directions, but do not add salt. Drain. While pasta is cooking, spray a large non-stick skillet with vegetable cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli and garlic. Cook stirring frequently for 2 minutes.
Add broth, lemon juice, and lemon peel to skillet. Bring mixture to a boil. Cook until broccoli is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Add pasta, parmesan and red pepper flakes to skillet. Cook, stirring, until heated through, about 5 minutes. Divide pasta mixture among individual serving plates. Serve immediately.
