Low-Fat Creamy Turkey & Pasta

Whole wheat pasta is combined with a sauce that has ground turkey or turkey sausage, cream of mushroom soup, skim milk & onion in this healthful dish.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Whole Wheat Rotelli Pasta (or preferred pasta)
  • 1 lb of Ground raw Turkey or raw turkey sausage removed from casing
  • 1 can low-fat or fat-free condensed mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can of skim milk
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

Boil rotelli pasta as directed on box and drain. Meanwhile cook onion in skillet on medium heat with Pam spray or a teaspoon of olive oil. Add turkey; cook until browned. Add cream of mushroom soup and milk; heat and stir until creamy and hot. Combine mixture with cooked pasta. Serve sprinkled with parmesan cheese.

 

Notes: You may add cooked mushrooms or brocolli florets, if you wish.
