Browned ground beef and spaghetti sauce, layered with shredded cheese, is spooned over refrigerated biscuits in a baking dish.

  • Servings: 8-10

2 lbs Hamburger
1 jar Spaghetti Sauce
2 Small Cans Refrigerated Biscuits
1– 2 cups Shredded Cheese
Additional Pizza Toppings, if desired

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown beef; drain and combine with spaghetti sauce. Heat on low for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Slice biscuits into quarters and line pan with the pieces. Spoon some of the warm meat mixture over biscuits. Top with cheese, then with the remaining meat mixture. Add additional pizza toppings, if you wish. Bake until biscuits are done, about 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Helpful Tips:

I classify this under the heading of "Mom Food." This recipe has been a family favorite for years. My children harass me to make it, and it's a great dish for potlucks. It's versatile, and great for using up random bits of leftovers in the fridge.
