Monterey Wings

This is a quick take-off on Buffalo Wings, but with a California twist--taco seasoning. Whip it up in half an hour and be ready for the big game.

  • Servings: 4


2 lbs Chicken Wings
1½ Tbsp Oil
2 cloves Garlic, minced
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Hot Shot, black and red pepper mix
¼ cup Ketchup
2 tsp Taco Seasoning
2 tsp Vinegar


Heat oven to 425 degrees.

Cut off wing tips. Cut wings in half.

In a large bowl, combine oil, garlic, salt, and hot shot.

Add wings and mix to coat.

Bake on a cookie sheet 25 minutes.

Combine ketchup, taco seasoning, and vinegar in serving bowl.

When wings are baked, toss them in sauce to coat. Serve hot.
