Napa Cabbage Salad

Use napa or regular cabbage, add ramen noodles, sesame seeds and almonds browned in butter. Drizzle with a mixture of vinegar, sugar, oil, and soy sauce before serving.
Ingredients
- 2 pkg. ramen noodles, crumbled
- 1 oz. sesame seeds
- 1 oz. slivered almonds
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 head napa cabbage, shredded or 2 bags cole slaw mix
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped

Method
Saute ramen noodles {without seasoning packet; save for another use}, sesame seeds and almonds in butter until lightly toasted; set aside. In small saucepan combine sugar, vinegar, oil and soy sauce. Boil 1 minute; let cool. Combine shredded cabbage, green onions, and ramen noodle mixture in a large salad bowl. Stir liquid mixture and pour over salad. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
