Pomme de terre avec l'orange

Potatoes fried in olive oil with garlic, orange zest and fresh squeezed orange juice make this a delightful dish to add to any main dish.
 

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Zest of 2 oranges
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Method

Wash the potatoes and cut into thick french fry style with the peeling. In a frying pan, heat olive oil. When hot, add potatoes and garlic with peeling, salt and pepper. When golden on both sides, discard half of oil and add orange zest and fresh squeezed orange juice. Let cook together for 10 minutes. When done, discard garlic and serve hot.
