Spicy Deviled Egg Salad

Cooked macaroni, cheese, and green chili peppers are included in this easy potluck favorite.
Ingredients
- 12 hard-cooked eggs, finely chopped
- 1 16-oz. box small elbow macaroni, cooked, drained, and cooled
- 2 4-oz. cans diced green chile peppers
- 1 1/2 cups finely shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
- 3 cups mayonnaise
- Cayenne pepper

In a large bowl combine eggs, cooked macaroni, chili peppers, cheese, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Fold in mayonnaise. Cover and chill at least 4 hours. Just before serving, sprinkle with cayenne pepper.
Notes: I had a macaroni salad something like this at a pot-luck. It reminded me of deviled eggs. I combined that recipe & my spicy deviled egg recipe. I took it to a pot-luck at work and it was gone in no time.
