|Salt & Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste|
Rinse broccoli and tarragon in cold water. Break the broccoli into florets. Pull tarragon leaves from the stems and tear to release flavor. Place broccoli and tarragon in a vegetable steamer and steam for 4-5 minutes. Broccoli should still be bright green and stems should pierce easily with a fork. Toss with butter to coat broccoli. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
I had some extra fresh tarragon in my fridge that was starting to wilt. I had some broccoli for a side dish and tossed the tarragon in on a lark. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted the outcome.
