Super Easy Fried Beans

Black beans or kidney beans are cooked in a little oil and seasoned with tamari or soy sauce, oregano and pepper.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 can black or kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. tamari or soy sauce
  • Oregano
  • Pepper

Method

Heat olive oil slightly in a frying pan, and then pour in the beans. Season with tamari, oregano and pepper--depending on how peppery-spicy you want it. Mix it around, gently so as not to crush the beans, and fry until the beans are nice and hot.
