Tuna Tomato Surprise

Tomatoes and horseradish jazz up traditional tuna salad--serve on toast or with lettuce as a main dish salad.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chunky white albacore tuna: fresh cooked or canned, drained
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 large tomato, chopped or grape tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 tsp horseradish
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise to desired consistency

Method

Mince cooked tuna then add remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate, to allow flavors to meld for at least an hour before serving. Eat on toast or a bed of lettuce as a salad.

 

Notes: Eat on toast of choice, or a bed of lettuce as a salad.
